What is Unveiled Bridal to you?

Shopping at unveiled was best! They took the upmost care of me throughout the whole process. On the day I found my wedding I dress at unveiled, I did not even have an appointment and they allowed me to try on dresses. The moment I put the Berkeley by Anne Barge I knew I had found the one! Betsey and Taylor spent hours helping me pick out accessories to go with the dress. I never felt rushed or pushed to make a purchase! It was the absolute best experience!

Describe your wedding day look…

Timeless, elegant, pure bliss

What’s your story?

We meet in nursing school during our clinicals at Baptist health Springhill.

How did he propose?

We have a thing with 8’s. I was born March 8th, Dalton May 8th. We became officially boyfriend and girlfriend on September 8th, Dalton named a star after me on February 8th for valentines’ day as well as many other things that unintentionally fell on an 8. For this reason, I had a suspicion Dalton would plan the proposal on the 8th of some month. Dalton: the most difficult thing in planning the proposal was knowing that kati had guessed correctly that it would be on the 8th of a month but I still wanted her to be shocked and surprised. WE both love petit jean and there is a beautiful overlook down red bluff drive that was the perfect place to propose. I planned the proposal for September 8th 2018. I let all of her friends and family know in advance when and where so they could meet us up there as soon as I proposed. On September 8th I picked kati up and we went to bonefish. She was expecting capers on proposal night but it opened too late. Bonefish allowed us to make it up to petit jean before sundown. Kati took this as she was not getting proposed to. She actually texted her mom during dinner that it was not happening tonight because I took her to bonefish. She continued to dig during dinner and mentioned dessert. I told her I was up for dessert. She mentioned Rita’s in Conway so after bonefish I headed to Conway. As I was about to take the exit she said well since we are all the way out here, we might as well go to petit jean for dessert. We frequently do take spur of the moment trips to Mather lodge to eat and watch the sunset so this was nothing out of the ordinary. At this point we headed to petit jean and to my surprise she really did not believe it was happening. As we got on the mountain, I turned off to go to the spot where my videographer /friend J.W and friend Drew were waiting. I played the song this is it by scotty McCreery which she had never heard, as we rounded the corner to the spot. This was the first time she says she began to realize it was happening. We then got out and walked to the end of the walkway which had rose petals scattered along the way. At the end there were a dozen red roses I handed to Kati before I got down on one knee and proposed. She said yes and her Family and friends that were hiding behind some trees watching came out yelling. We took pictures and then went to eat that dessert at Mather lodge. It was absolutely perfect.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

The most memorable part is when the double doors swung up open and Dalton saw me in my dress for the first time! Our eyes never drifted from each other’s! I will treasure that moment for a lifetime!
